Kileleshwa Member of County Assembly (MCA) Robert Alai on Monday, July 31 attacked Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua doubting her intentions for Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition.

According to Alai, Karua and deputy president Rigathi Gachagua are on a similar mission, further alleging that the two are on the same team.

“Martha Karua and Rigathi Gachagua = same team with the same mission,” Alai stated.

The lawmaker has in several tweets bashed Martha Karua questioning her role in Azimio.

Alai claimed that the Narc Kenya Party Leader does not want Eugene Wamalwa to be part of the Azimio team for talks with Kenya Kwanza leaders.

He noted that Eugene Wamalwa delivered more votes from his backyard as compared to Martha Karua’s performance during the 2022 General Election.

“So, Martha Karua wants Eugene Wamalwa off the talks team while she couldn’t even deliver a stream in her home polling station? Eugene, junior politically to her, delivered much more,” he stated.

Azimio Team for Talks

Alai alleged that there are efforts by Mt. Kenya region leaders in Azimio to control talks between President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza and the Raila Odinga-led Azimio.

He referenced Peter Munya, suggesting the former Cabinet Secretary has been missing in action but only surfaced after peaceful talks gained momentum.

“Suddenly former CS Munya appears from nowhere when now there are some peaceful talks because “they” must control the talks. These people are taking us for a ride,” Alai said.

“After few weeks, you will see more Mount Kenya leaders appear to take extreme stand against talks or wanting to control the talks,” he added claiming they are being played.

Likewise, Alai alleged that Karua who is an Azimio principal, almost jumped on the table while insisting Jeremiah Kioni be among the leaders to represent Azimio in the talks.

“Two names were suggested to represent Azimio in the talks. Martha Karua almost jumped on the table insisting on Kioni being among the two “to represent Mt Kenya.” We need to see the representation of Mt Kenya in the injuries and deaths too,” Alai’s statement reads.

Uhuru and Gachagua Have the Same Political Mission

Robert Alai has further alleged that retired president Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua have the same political mission, adding that they are working towards the Raila’s downfall.

Alai recalled several instances when unknown people attacked Uhuru during anti-government protests claiming the former president is only ‘fattening baba for slaughter’.

“First Maandamano, Uhuru’s farm raided and razed with no meaningful damage apart from few areas of grass and few trees. Most of the sheep stolen were apparently returned. If it were serious, there are more visible properties nearby or elsewhere which could have been targeted” Alai wondered.

He also mentioned the Jubilee party coup, which he claimed does not make sense, and the raid on his son’s home.

According to the Kileleshwa MCA, Uhuru remains as the real opposition chief who doesn’t oppose but lounges around as “respected former President.

“Uhuru is fattening Baba for slaughter. Mission: Finish Baba (attack, arrest, smear his name regionally and globally),” Alai concluded.
