After leaving Parliament, she remained active in public affairs and later served as NCIC Deputy Chairperson, where she supported peacebuilding and national cohesion initiatives.

Dorcas Kedogo is now seeking to return to elective politics, with plans to contest the Vihiga parliamentary seat.

Entry into politics

She won the seat on an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket and later joined the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD).
