Former Safaricom employee and political aspirant Irine Terer Bise Chebile is drawing attention in Bomet as she campaigns for the Woman Representative seat ahead of the 2027 General Election, with her use of a helicopter for some campaign and community events becoming a talking point.
Recent online posts have highlighted Chebile’s campaign style, particularly her use of a helicopter to attend political and community events.
The posts contrast her approach with Linet Chepkorir “Toto’s” 2022 campaign, which was widely associated with grassroots mobilization and boda boda rides.
“In 2022, Bomet Women Rep Linet Chepkorir Toto used humility and poor background to get elected. In 2027, her fiercest competitor, Irene Chebile, has adopted an opposite strategy,” an X user, Jimmy Manoti, said.

She later hosted residents at her Kapsoyo home in Silibwet Township for a meeting and engagement before proceeding to Chepkosigen ECD in Rongena Manaret Ward, where she said she listened to residents’ views, concerns, and aspirations.
Her day also included a church service and fundraiser at Kerundut AGC in Nyongores Ward, held in support of the church’s construction project.
