Chat GPT can now see, hear, and talk, Open AI made the announcement on Monday, September 25, hitting another milestone in the advancement of technology.
According to Open AI, the AI-powered language model will have the ability to engage in a back-and-forth voice conversation. This will be like other cloud-based voice services such as Amazon’s Alexa and Apples Siri.
The selected voices to be used in the AI system are dubbed Juniper, Breeze, Sky, Cove, and Ember.
Through the voice feature, Chat GPT will have a more intuitive type of interface by allowing users to have a voice conversation with Chat GPT instead of typing it out.
Chat GPT will be launching voice and image features on the app to Plus and Enterprise users over the next two weeks. Voice will be coming on iOS and Android.

Chat GPT on Images
“You can now show ChatGPT one or more images,” the Open AI blog announced.
To focus on a specific part of the image, users will have access to drawing tools in the Chat GPT mobile app.
Users will now be able to explore the contents of their fridges to plan meals or analyze a complex graph for work-related data.
Images will be available on all platforms including laptop and computer interfaces.
“We’re looking to make ChatGPT easier to use, and more helpful,” Peter Deng, OpenAI’s vice president of consumer and enterprise product said.
More features from Open AI.
OpenAI has recently accelerated the release of its A.I tools and features. This month, it unveiled the newest version of its image generator, DALL-E 3.
DALL-E 3 is an AI system that can create realistic images and art from a description in natural language. It can create original, realistic images and art from a text description prompt. It also can combine concepts, attributes, and styles.
The tool was integrated into ChatGPT. With this integration, users will now be able to create text-prompted images with the help of the AI language model.
With the unveiling of these new features, OpenAI competes favorably with rival AI powered chatbots like Google Bard.

Chat GPT remains among the fastest downloaded apps after hitting one million downloads 5 days after its launch in November 2022.
To put it in context, it took Meta’s Instagram 2.5 months to hit the one-million downloads mark after its launch in October 2010.
This record has however been rivalled by Meta’s Threads which was downloaded thirty million times sixteen hours after its launch.
