For professionals, Bosch’s portfolio includes drills and screwdrivers, saws, cordless tools, angle grinders, sanders, heat guns and cutting and grinding equipment.
Counterfeit Tools Remain a Growing Concern in Kenya
The investment comes amid concerns over the influx of counterfeit products in Kenya.
In its 2026 Special 301 Report, the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) named Kenya among markets linked to the movement and sale of counterfeit goods, citing weaknesses in intellectual property enforcement.
According to the report, counterfeit products are shipped directly to buyers or routed through international transit hubs before reaching markets, including Kenya.
The report also identified electronic products and semiconductors among the categories of counterfeit goods circulating through global illicit supply chains.
Bosch says its Service and Experience Centre aims to help customers distinguish genuine products from counterfeit alternatives by providing direct access to authentic Bosch equipment, certified repairs and original spare parts.
By combining product demonstrations, technical training and expert after-sales support under one roof, the company hopes to build consumer confidence while helping households and professionals make informed purchasing decisions and avoid the risks associated with counterfeit tools and electronics.
