The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has announced that tickets for the FIFA World Cup 2026 are now available as the tournament enters its final sales phase.
In an official communication today, 22nd May, FKF stated: “The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) is excited to inform the public that tickets for the FIFA World Cup 2026 are now available during the Last-Minute Sales Phase on FIFA’s ticketing platform.”
This is the final opportunity for fans to secure match tickets from now until the end of the tournament.
FKF said this is the last official ticket-sales window and that it will run until the end of the competition.
It is important to note that FIFA is selling the tickets on a first-come, first-served basis, with a surge in demand expected as the World Cup tournament nears.

Limited Categories and World Cup Ticket Release
In the FIFA Ticketing Platform, tickets fall under Category 1 and Category 2, depending on availability for each match.
FKF also noted that more tickets will be released gradually: “Additional tickets will continue to be released periodically until the final on Sunday, 19 July 2026.”
Guidance from Earlier Sales Phases
This announcement follows earlier phases of ticket sales, where FIFA introduced a structured process that included lottery-style draws and early application windows.
In the initial phases, many fans worldwide applied for limited tickets, with demand exceeding supply; therefore, the last-minute phase is a chance for those who missed out earlier.
Alternative Purchase Through FKF
FKF has provided an alternative process for those who want to purchase tickets through the federation, whereby fans are required to register by providing the following details:
- Full Name
- Contact Number
- Preferred Matches
- Ticket Category
- Number of Tickets required.
The deadline for this registration is Wednesday, 27th May.
Fans can visit FKF headquarters in Nairobi during office hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) or contact the federation through:

Travel and Entry Requirements for Fans
However, FKF emphasized travel considerations for fans planning to attend the matches in person and advised fans to apply for visas early due to processing times.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be jointly hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the United States, and entry requirements vary by country.
“A match ticket does not guarantee entry into the host countries,” FKF cautioned, urging fans to check visa and entry rules for each country early.
Travelers heading to the United States were also informed about the FIFA Priority Appointment Scheduling System (FIFA PASS), which will help in planning visa appointments.
In addition, FKF reminded fans that all ticket purchases are final and encouraged them to review the full terms and conditions on FIFA’s official ticketing website, FIFA.com/tickets
