Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has launched military strikes targeting United States (US) bases in multiple Gulf countries in response to ongoing strikes involving the US and Israel.
IRGC argued that the operation, named “Basharat al-Fath” or “Glad Tidings of Victory”, targeted key US installations, including the strategic Al Udeid Air Base.
Missiles and drones were fired toward American installations in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates as tensions between Tehran, Washington, and Israel escalate.
The Kingdom of Bahrain confirmed explosions near the headquarters of the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet in Abu Dhabi, and sirens sounded across Kuwait.
