Al Shabaab terrorists attacked the Biyamadhow police reservist camp in Fafi sub-county, Garissa County.
The terrorists killed six people and injured four others after the attack which happened at around 5 am on Sunday, March 23.

National Police Service (NPS) said the attackers shot the victims and stabbed some but also suffered casualties during the attack.
The terrorists escaped with some weapons after the incident.

Biyamadhow is near the porous Kenya-Somalia border, which is usually breached by the militants.
Reports indicate that the terrorists are also planning more incidents of kidnapping Kenyans.

NPS spokesman Michael Muchiri a multi-agency team has been sent to pursue the gangs, enhance security and tame such plans.
“More personnel have been deployed to the area to confront the enemy. This is an unfortunate incident,” he said.
The bodies of the deceased were moved to a local mortuary while the injured were taken to hospital.
It is reported that the Al Shabaab were revenging their fellow who was arrested by Kenyan security for terrorism offences, officials said.
Al Shabaab Storm Village in Lamu
This comes Al Shabaab fighters invaded a village in Lamu County on the evening of Saturday, March 15.
Lamu County Commissioner Wesley Koech said the fighters lectured the residents of the Mangai village and gave them fruits before escaping to an unknown location.
The fighters did not injure anybody during the incident.

Terrorists Arrested in Mandera
On February 18, Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives arrested two suspected Al-Shabaab terrorists in Mandera County.
DCI said the two were planning the abduction of a team of foreign nationals working at a sewer line construction site within Mandera township.
The detectives first arrested the prime suspect, Isaac Abdi Mohamed, alias Kharan Abdi Hassan.

Mohamed was to work with another suspect, Noor Yacob Ali who was also nabbed.
The investigative agency said Mohamed recently sneaked his way into the country from El-ade in Somalia and forged a number of documents to identify as a Kenyan.
Investigations revealed that Abdi was to pay Ksh100,000 to his local associate, who would assist in the abduction exercise.
