Mama Ida Assures Kenyans Oburu Is Alive
Earlier on October 15, Mama Ida Odinga had reassured the public that Oburu was alive but unwell after young people chanted his name during the first anniversary commemoration of Raila Odinga’s death.
She said Oburu had missed the gathering on medical advice, with his doctors recommending that he avoid events that attract large crowds.
“Dr Oburu is not feeling well, but he is not very sick. He is alive, but the doctors have said that he should not come to a loud rally like this,” Ida Odinga explained.
