Buffalo Mall, strategically situated along the bustling Nairobi–Nakuru Highway, stands as one of Kenya’s largest retail complexes.
Spanning 85,000 square feet, the mall officially opened to the public in February 2015 and quickly became a key shopping destination in Naivasha.
Hosting over 25 outlets, it features a mix of local and international brands, catering to diverse consumer needs.
Buffalo Mall Founders, Owners and Investors
Buffalo Mall, which sits on 45 acres, was owned by the late Tom Cholmondeley, the great-grandson of tycoon Lord Delamere.
For the first phase, Mr Cholmondeley partnered with British firm Lloyd Capital Partners (LCP) to develop 22,000 square meters of retail space, with the firm owning a 75 per cent stake in the project and the Delamare family the remaining 15 per cent. The first phase cost KSh 715 million.
The second phase of the project will involve more shopping malls, restaurants, apartments, leisure places, office spaces, warehouses, fuel stations and hotel complexes.
