Kenyan Songstress Judith Nyambura, popularly known as Avril, has spoken out about her alleged assault by long-term lover Jibril Blessing aka J Blessing.
Avril shared a long post on her Instagram account on Wednesday, November 15 explaining to her fans events that led to the assault incident by her music producer cum lover.
Worth noting, Avril’s long post is linked to a post she had shared on Tuesday November 14 at night tagging J Blessing which sparked heated conversation on social media with fans making conclusions and condemning the alleged assault.
However, moments after uploading the post she quickly deleted the photos and went on to blast those who were criticizing her.
Avril’s Post on Assault by Lover
In the earlier post, Avril shared an image of her mirror photo with her face having a white bandage with bruises on parts of her face.

However, to clear the air the songstress stated that indeed J Blessings who is a producer had assaulted her in the seven years of their relationship but chose to keep it low.
The songstress further highlighted her comfort in keeping her business private away from the public limelight, however the recent assault was far beyond that she could not hold anymore.
Meanwhile Avril while expressing her forgiveness to the partner asked her fans to also forgive him as everyone deserves forgiveness.
“My heart is so heavy that I had to tell the world my business… I forgive you J. Please find it in your hearts to forgive him too. Everyone is deserving of forgiveness in this life,” Avril wrote.
J Blessing Alleged Seven Years Assault to Avril
On the other hand, the celebrated artist and an actress reminisced her seven-year-old relationship with J Blessings which bore a son, further highlighting the number of fights they went through while in the relationship.
“I recognize that our 7-year relationship and our journey as parents to an amazing little boy has faced challenges, and there have been conflicts that escalated into fights,” she said.
Similarly in her long post on Instagram Avril hinted at calling off the relationship and seeking to start new.
“We recognize the need for change and are committed to seeking assistance and learning more effective ways to communicate and resolve problems,” said Avril.

Avril Statement on Clout Chasing
Likewise, Avrill added “Our mutual goal is to foster understanding and growth by creating a more positive and supportive environment for each other.”
Moreover, she rubbished claims from critics that she was clout-chasing ahead of an upcoming project, stating that such matters were sensitive.
“No, it is not clout I would be the worst kind of human to joke about something so heartbreaking to so many men and women all over the world,” wrote Avril.
Notably, according to Avril the matter is with the relevant authorities.
