Comedian and entertainer Eric Omondi has built a classroom and bought learning essentials for needy pupils in Turkana County.
Taking to social media Omondi showcased the complete classroom, alongside the pupils who donned school uniforms that he had bought them. He also issued them with shoes and books.
Omondi has been fundraising for the project named ‘Team Sisi Kwa Sisi’ online. He thanked all who contributed towards the project stating that he did all that in a day.
Eric Omondi rewards volunteer teacher
“Team Sisi Kwa Sisi We have done it again. May God Himself richly bless anyone and everyone who sends anything. We birthed a new school, we built a classroom in one day, and bought uniforms, books, and shoes for these little angels,” stated Omondi.
The school was named after the teacher who has been volunteering to teach the students for free. She was also given a stipend.

“We named the school Teacher Kamaret Primary School after the amazing selfless teacher who volunteered herself to teach these children. We managed to give her a stipend to sustain her for at least two months,” added Omondi.
The entertainer urged members of the public to continue contributing as there is more that is yet to be done.
He endeavors to have a boarding facility in the school by the end of the year.
Eric appeals for more help
“A lot still needs to be done because more than half of the children still don’t have uniforms, and the classroom is not 100 percent done. By the end of this year, we will have a complete school here with boarding facilities. God bless you,” wrote the comedian.

Eric Omondi has been carrying out philanthropic deeds in the recent past. In October 2024, he helped raise Ksh. 1 million for a student with Ksh. 32,000 fees arrears.
He spearheaded the efforts to raise the money after the student, named Lewis featured in a TikTok video asking for financial help to clear his fees balance, which had made him stay away from school for two months.
