The University of Nairobi (UoN) is ranked first in Kenya, 805th in the global rating, and 8th in Africa.
It is among the best universities offering bachelor’s degrees in education, arts and science.
Both educations Arts and science costs Ksh1,028,000 for the whole four years at UoN.
The breakdown of fees is as follows: Ksh263,000 for the first year, Ksh255,000 for the second year, Ksh257,000 and Ksh253,000 for the third and fourth years, respectively.
UoN’s 2024 clusters were as follows: Education Science 37.073 while Arts stood at 32.924.
Kenyatta University
KU was ranked second in Kenya, 36th in Africa and 2135th globally.
It offers various combinations in education science at the main campus and Mombasa campus.
The courses cost Ksh244,800 for full-time and e-learning, while non-East Africans pay Ksh306,000.
Education arts fee is Ksh153,000 for full-time and online learning while non-East Africans pay Ksh191,250.
Mount Kenya University
Mount Kenya University is ranked 5th in Kenya and 3203rd globally.
Bachelor of Education Arts Students pay Ksh52,500 per semester while those pursuing Education Science pay Ksh55,000.
The university also offers a Bachelor of Education in Special Needs at Ksh55,000.
Moi University
Moi University is among the universities ranked in the top ten.
It offers 8 different bachelor’s degrees in education and the fees per year are outlined as follows.
This includes Bachelor of Arts (Ksh183,600) and Bachelor of Arts with Education at Ksh153,000.
