The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has announced scholarship opportunities for health professionals seeking to advance their careers in nephrology-related disciplines.
In an announcement on February 26, KMTC stated the scholarships are in partnership with the Ministry of Health and the East Africa Centre of Excellence in Urology and Nephrology.
“KMTC, in partnership with the Ministry of Health and the East Africa Centre of Excellence in Urology and Nephrology, is officially inviting applications for the March 2026 intake,” read part of the announcement.
Applications should be sent to reach the Chief Executive Officer, KMTC, on or before March 15, 2026
Programs That Will Be Offered Under the Scholarships
A total of 10 programmes will be available under the scholarship scheme; all offered on a full-time basis.

KMTC’s Eligibility and Requirements
Successful applicants will receive a scholarship covering tuition and a stipend during the study period.
To qualify, applicants are expected to attach a handwritten essay of not more than two hundred (200) words explaining why they feel that they deserve the scholarship and the contribution they will make to the community upon graduation.
To be awarded a scholarship, you must get an unconditional offer for one of your course choices.
The institution stated that candidates who meet the following criteria will be prioritized:
- County Government employees within the Republic of Kenya
- Employees of the Kenya Medical Training College
- Work experience of at least three years at a county health facility
- Registered with the respective regulatory body for the basic training
- Secured approval and release by the county
Upon a successful application, the applicant will proceed to be awarded a scholarship.
KMTC will then conduct shortlisting of eligible candidates, followed by selection by the KMTC-EACE program scholarships selection committee.

- If you have registered an account, log in using your email and password
- If you do not have an account, click on the Register button on the top right-hand corner
- This will take you to the account creation form
- Enter your name, email address, and password (put a password that you can easily remember)
- Click onthe Create Account Button
- On the right-hand panel, click on Application, and under Application, click on EACE-UN SCHOLARSHIP
- Follow the step-by-step process until the end of the online application form.
- After filling in the required information and uploading the required documents, download the form, have it signed appropriately, scan the form into pdf format, log in to your portal, and upload the duly filled form
