Ngera’s approach focuses on the restorative power of nutrition, specifically through a specially crafted soup designed to nourish and aid in the physical and mental recovery of individuals on the path to sobriety.
The program’s success is evident in the positive transformations witnessed among the participants.
Many individuals have reported improved physical health, increased energy levels, and a sense of well-being after incorporating the specially formulated soup into their daily routine.

About the Program
The program sponsor Dr Ngera runs it every weekend where he invites speakers who come to mentor and create awareness on the ills of alcohol abuse, advising them on the importance of making life’s healthy choices.
Before the program begins, the addicts gather for a cup of soup that is seen as a replacement of the bottle of alcohol.
The communal aspect fosters a sense of belonging and shared responsibility, creating a supportive environment for individuals seeking to overcome addiction.
As the program continues to expand its reach, Dr Ngera remains dedicated to promoting rehabilitation awareness in Laikipia West and beyond.
Nonetheless, his commitment to holistic healing and community-driven initiatives has not only transformed the lives of countless individuals but has also sparked conversations about innovative approaches to addiction recovery on a broader scale.
