The Kenya School of Government (KSG) has announced jobs across all its four campuses, targeting Kenyans with certificates, diplomas, and degrees.
In a statement on Tuesday, October 10, the State Corporation noted it was looking for qualified candidates to fill the positions.
Further, KSG outlined requirements for each position.
“The school is seeking suitably qualified candidates to fill vacant positions, detailed information about the specific positions, duties, and responsibilities, minimum requirements and the application form is available at KSG website,” read part of the statement.

Notable positions advertised are Senior eLearning Lectures, accountants, internal auditor, Human Resource officer, ICT, Coporate communications officers. Among other positions are Security officers, Waiters, Cooks, Drivers, swimming pool attendants.
Senior Lecturer jobs
Candidates applying for Senior Lecturer must hold bachelor’s and master’s degree in social sciences, law, communication and publishing, or environment and climate change from a recognized university.
Additionally, they should have done a management course in a recognized institution lasting at least four weeks.
All Senior lectures applicants must have a minimum of 6 years’ experience in training, research, and consultancy with at least one publication in a refereed journal or one book chapter.
Subsequently, Membership in a professional body is required in compliance with public service ethics and values.
Similarly, the State Cooperation is looking to employ twenty waiters, eight cooks as well as Hospitality officers.
Executive Chef Post
Suitable candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in culinary arts.
The duties and responsibilities of the Chef include overseeing food production, carrying out market surveys in food production, ordering and evaluating the quality of food as well as supervising staff.
Furthermore, applicants must have a Valid Certificate of Medical examination in pursuant to the Food, Drugs and the Chemical Substance Act.
Similarly, a practicing license is required.
Waiters
Interested waiters are required to have a Certificate in Food Production, Food and Beverage Service and Sales, Housekeeping and Laundry lasting.
Candidates applying must have a minimum of one year or equivalent experience in food production from a recognized institution.
Additionally, all applicants should hold a Valid Certificate of Medical examination in pursuant to the Food, Drugs and Chemical Substance Act.
Candidates should have a minimum of six years in a relevant field, proficiency with relevant computer applications, and compliance with the public service ethics and values.
How To Apply
To apply, interested candidates have been directed to fill in an application form from the KSG website.
“Interested candidates are advised to submit applications through the KSG Careers Portal,” read the statement
Additionally, State Cooperation is also accepting hard copies posted or delivered to the Director General.
Noteworthy, the deadline for the applications is on or before Monday, October 30, 2023.

“Minorities, women and persons with disability are therefore encouraged to apply, any form of canvassing will lead to disqualification,” said Director General.
Successful candidates may be deployed to any of the KSG campuses in the country, namely Baringo, Embu, Matuga, and Mombasa.
Notably, all engagements at Kenya School of Government are based on permanent and pensionable terms of service.
