HealthPartners, a health care provider, and insurance company has announced vacancies for nine top positions.
In an advert on Friday, October 6, HealthPartners announced that it is looking for candidates for a USAID – funded Health E-Quality program in Kenya.

Further, the company asked interested candidates to send their applications and curriculum vitae (CV) to jennifer.I.wenborg@healthpartners.com on or before 11th October 2023.
Moreover, HealthPartners outlined the required and preferred qualifications for the nine positions.

HealthPartners Chief of Party
To begin with, HealthPartners seek to recruit an individual with an advanced degree in public health, health financing, health care administration or related fields as a Chief of Party (COP).
Additionally, the candidate must have ten years’ experience managing a diverse team of staff and strength in public speaking.

Also, the individual must possess strengths in public speaking, excellent communication skills, good customer service and interpersonal skills among other qualifications.
Deputy COP
Moreover, HealthPartners advertised a vacancy for the position of deputy COP.
The qualifications include a professional or advanced degree in health, business or marketing and two years’ management experience of 3 or more staff.
“Three or more years’ experience developing win-win partnerships with other organizations is required,” read the advert in part.
In addition, the candidate must have the ability to meet deadlines and follow through to make measurable progress on long term plans.
“Must have experience in gender programming, training trainers and/or working with youth to build vision and support self-efficacy and action to achieve specific goals,” added HealthPartners.

Compliance Manager
Individuals with a degree in law, statistics, business management or related fields are encouraged to apply for the position of compliance manager.
Furthermore, the candidate must have 5 years of experience in providing tax, legal and compliance support services.
Also, they must possess exceptional knowledge of Kenya country laws and tax compliance, as well as attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications for this position include experience leading change management for a team, excellent team building and interpersonal skills and outstanding spelling, grammar, editing and organizational skills.
Chief Financial Officer
HealthPartners also advertised a vacancy for the position of chief financial officer with an advanced degree in accounting, finance, or related fields.
Also, the candidate must have five years’ experience in budgeting, reporting actual spending each month and leading a team to achieve goals within the budget.
“International development, and experience working with partners from other countries is a plus,” read the advert.
Additionally, to qualify, the candidate must have 3 or more years in managing staff and experience working with Cooperatives and/or working in Health.
“Ability to train staff on accountability requirements and processes for accurate reporting month to month is preferred,” said HealthPartners.
Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Manager
For this position, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in monitoring and evaluation, statistics or an equivalent.
“The ability to learn and adopt new strategies and tools from reading training manuals is a plus,” said the advert.
Moreover, candidates must have five years’ experience in a leadership M&E role from an international development, research organization, university, or related organization.
“The ability to prioritize and orchestrate multiple tasks simultaneously is critical in this role,” added the advert.
Candidates must also have strong self-motivation and desire to learn as well as basic skills in monitoring and evaluation.

M&E Coordinator
On top of the education requirements which are like M&E Manager, candidates must have created and implemented monitoring tools and plans to meet program needs and overcome challenges.
They must also have a proven ability to train and maintain systems for timely, accurate data collection.
“Ability to map data to show results and facilitate prioritization by local leaders is key,” read the job notice.
Interested candidates must also demonstrate the ability to learn and adopt new strategies and tools.
Lead Trainer
Education qualification for this position is a bachelor’s degree in health, education, social works and social administration, development studies or related fields.
The candidates should preferably be a member of a cooperative or serving on board.
Accountant
Further, HealthPartners needs an accountant with a bachelor’s degree in accounting plus accounting certification.
Potential candidates should be attentive to details and can follow through assigned tasks.
“Must have the ability to reorganize and resolve potential gaps and challenges before they become problematic,” said the advert.
A successful candidate must also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Administrative Assistant
To qualify for this position, candidates must have two years of administrative experience or a four-year college degree.
Also, they must have strong desktop tool usage including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Likewise, the candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills with excellent spelling, grammar, editing and organizational skills.
They must also have the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
