Nakuru County Public Service Board has advertised job opportunities in various sectors across different carders, including clerks, nurses and security guards.
In a notice published on Thursday, February 29, the county government announced 53 vacant positions in the department of health services as follows:
1.Senior Medical Physicist – Job Group “N”-One (1) Position.
2. Medical Officer- Job Group “M” – Thirteen (13) Positions.
3. Radiographer I (Therapy Radiographer) – Job Group “K”-One (1) Position.
4. Registered Nurse I (Oncology) – Job Group “K”-One (1) Position.
5. Registered Nurse 1- (Critical Care) – Job Group “K”- Three (3) Positions.
6. Nutrition And Dietetics Officer – Job Group “K” – One (1) Position.
7. Ambulance Driver III – Job Group “D” – Two (2) Positions.

8. Assistant Public Health Officer III-Job Group “H”-Two (2) Positions.
9. Assistant Health Records and Information Management Officer III – One (1) Position.

12. Nutrition And Dietetics Technologist III – Two (2) Positions.
13. Registered Nurse III – Fifteen (15) Positions.
14. Medical Laboratory Technologist III-One Position.
15. Pharmaceutical Technologist III-Two (2) Positions.
Opportunities in the department of Public Service and humanitarian assistance
In the public service department, Nakuru County Government advertised openings for:
1. Clerical Officer II – Job Group “F” – Fifteen (15) Positions.
2. Security Warden II – Job Group “E” – Twenty (20) Positions.
How to apply for Nakuru County Jobs
Applicants are instructed to download and complete an Employment Application Form from the official County Government of Nakuru website (www.nakuru.go.ke).
The completed application form, accompanied by certified copies of National ID, KCSE, Diploma/Degree/Masters Certificates, and Professional registration certificates, must be sent through the Post office or Courier Services in a sealed envelope.
The deadline for submission is March 13, 2024, at 5:00 p.m and hand-delivered applications will not be accepted.
To facilitate proper processing, the application envelope should clearly indicate the Advert number and the position applied for. The address for submission is P.O Box 2870-20100, Nakuru.

Additionally, the board emphasized that canvassing in any form will result in automatic disqualification, and only shortlisted candidates will receive further communication.

The recruitment process adheres to principles of transparency, fairness, and equal opportunity, aligning with the provisions of Article 235 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, and Section 59 of the County Governments Act.
It encouraged the youth, women, persons with disabilities, marginalized, and minority communities to apply, underscoring its commitment to a recruitment process devoid of corruption.
“The Board and the County Government of Nakuru is committed to Zero Tolerance to Corruption,” reads the notice in part.
Applicants were also warned against falling victim to fraudsters and impersonators who may solicit money with promises of influencing the outcome of the recruitment process.
The Board absolved itself of any responsibility for personal loss arising from such unlawful dealings, emphasizing a commitment to a legitimate and secure recruitment process.
