PSC Announces 216 Jobs – How to Apply

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced numerous job vacancies across various government departments.

In a notice dated April 1, 2025, the PSC invited qualified Kenyans to apply for these positions.

“Applications are invited from qualified persons for the positions shown below,” the notice read.

The job vacancies span several state departments, including the National Treasury, Economic Planning, Immigration and Citizen Services, Correctional Services, and Foreign Affairs.

Public Service Commission Vacancies Across Govt Departments

There are also openings in Broadcasting and Telecommunications, Tourism, Wildlife, and the Blue Economy. Additional vacancies are available in Fisheries, Shipping and Maritime, as well as in the Gender and Technical & Vocational Education Training departments.

Other departments with job openings include Public Works, Housing and Urban Development, and Lands and Physical Planning. Opportunities also exist in the Energy, Irrigation, Transport, and Parliamentary Affairs departments.

Key Positions Available Include:

1. National Treasury: 11 openings for Senior Deputy Director, Deputy Director, and Assistant Director in Macro and Fiscal Policy.
2. Economic Planning: One position for Director General and two Secretary positions for Monitoring, Evaluation & Partnerships and Development, Planning & Policy.
3. Immigration and Citizen Services: Two vacancies for Secretaries in Integrated Population Registration Services and Civil Registration Services.
4. Correctional Services: 15 vacancies for Director, Deputy Director, and Assistant Director roles in Probation.
5. Foreign Affairs:One position for Director General of Foreign Affairs, Political and Diplomatic Affairs.
6. Broadcasting and Telecommunications:Three Secretary positions in Information and Broadcasting, Public Communication, and Telecommunication & Postal Services.
7. Tourism and Wildlife: A Secretary for Tourism Development, a Director and Assistant Director for Wildlife Policy and Strategy, and an Assistant Director for Wildlife Services—totaling four positions.
8. Blue Economy and Fisheries: Three positions, including a Secretary for Fisheries and Blue Economy and a Director for Government Clearing Services.
9. Housing and Urban Development:  38 vacancies across various roles such as Assistant National Building Inspectorate, Director, Deputy Director, and Assistant Director of Housing Infrastructure, as well as positions in Estate Management, Land Surveys, Urban Governance, and Slum Upgrading.
10. Transport: One vacancy for Deputy Director, Air Transport.
11. Parliamentary Affairs:One position for Deputy Director.
12. Irrigation: Seven positions, including Deputy Directors for Irrigation Development Coordination, Quality Assurance and Licensing, and Climate Resilience, along with Senior Principal Superintendent Engineer roles.
13. Lands and Physical Planning:Six positions, including Senior Deputy Director for Physical Planning, Deputy Chief Land Registrar, and various Assistant Director roles.
14. Energy: Eight vacancies in Electrical Power Development, Geo Exploration, and various engineering positions in renewable energy and geology.
