Mary Wamaua is a Kenyan politician currently serving as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Maragwa Constituency in Murang’a County.
She was first elected to Parliament in 2017 and was re-elected in the 2022 Kenyan general elections.

Mary Wamaua Njoroge attended Kamahuha Girls High School, where she completed her O-Level education between 1986 and 1989.
She then proceeded to Kigari Teachers Training College, earning her P1 certificate between 1991 and 1993.
Later, she diversified her qualifications after enrolling at the Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBIT) in Kisii, where she obtained a Diploma in Civil Works – Roads and Building from 2008 to 2009.
Mwary Wamaua would later enrol at Gretsa University, where she first earned a Diploma in Social Work and Community Development during 2013–2014, and then completed her Bachelor of Arts in Community Development in 2014–2016.

She began her career teaching as an Assistant Teacher with the Teachers Service Commission from 1993 to 1996. From 1996 to 1999, Wamaua served as Deputy Headteacher and rose to become a Head Teacher from 1999 to 2008.
Mary Wamaua simultaneously served as Women Representative for the KNUT, Murang’a South branch from 1997 to 2008.

In 2008, she transitioned to entrepreneurship as a Civil Works Contractor, a role she held until 2013.
