Eliud Owalo is a Kenyan, currently serving as the Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Government Performance and Delivery Management.

Eliud’s exact date of birth is not known; however, he was born in Asembo, Siaya County.
He is from a humble background; however, he exhibited perseverance that led him to acquire two university degrees and immediately establish his own management consultancy firm.

He joined St. Mary’s Yala, where he did his A-levels. While still in school, he decided to practice his leadership skills by becoming a student leader.
Additionally, he pursued a degree in Economics and Business Studies from the University of Kenyatta.
Later, I joined the University of Nairobi and graduated with a master’s in business administration.
Furthermore, he holds a PhD in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi.
Career Background
He is currently the Deputy Chief of Staff for Performance and Delivery Management in the Executive Office of the President, in August 2024.
Previously, he served as the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Information, Communications, and the Digital Economy before President William Ruto dissolved his Cabinet in 2024.
Eliud has over 23 years of experience as an Economist, Management Consultant, and Strategic Planning expert.
He is the managing consultant at Eliud and Associates (E&A), where he has practised his expertise in Management consultancy to date.

Eliud is also not new when it comes to politics. He has had a share in national politics through different leadership positions in political parties.
In addition, he has also served as Deputy Secretary General in the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

He was also an Economic advisor to the Kenya Kwanza 2022 Presidential Campaign.

In 2022, during vetting, he revealed to the Parliamentary committee that he is worth 645 million Kenya Shillings.
