Kenyans will not be required to book a date for fingerprinting when applying for a police clearance certificate formally known as Certificates of Good Conduct.
On Tuesday, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) announced that going forward, applicants will just need to show up for fingerprinting at their own convinience.

Previously, Kenyans seeking the certificate were required to book a fingerprinting date and time.
“Kindly note that you are no longer required to book a fingerprinting date while applying for the Police Clearance Certificate (formally Good Conduct). This section has been removed from the portal. Applicants are encouraged to visit their convenient centre to be served,” office of the DCI stated.
