President William Ruto is among the world leaders who sent congratulatory messages to U.S President-elect Donald Trump.
Trump floored Vice President Kamala Harris in the polls winning in both the electoral and popular votes.
In a statement, Ruto said Kenya is ready to work with Trump’s leadership to address global challenges, promote peace and security and foster inclusive economic growth for the benefit of the nations.
However, there have been claims that Ruto’s message was entirely generated using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The Kenya Times has conducted a fact check on this using different online AI detectors to establish the truth.
According to Isgen detector, the text was entirely generated by human with zero percent probability that AI was used.
Similar results are found when the text is scanned through Copyleaks AI detector.
Additionally, GPTZero revealed a zero percent probability of the text being AI generated
“We’ve compared this text to other AI-generated documents. We are highly confident this text is entirely human,” reads GPTZero results.
Quetext AI detector also shows that the text is human content with 0.012 percent that its AI generated,
“Our detector is highly confident that the text is written entirely by a human,” read the results.

Ruto Could Have Used AI, Tools Reveal
However, Free AI Detector & ChatGPT Detector results bring out different results.
The tool shows that there are chances that the text was generated using AI.
“There is relatively high risk that your text was written by AI,” reads the results.
According to the tool, 87 percent of the words in the text are commonly used by AI generators when creating content.

In the breakdown, 9 percent of the words are occasionally used by AI writers while 3 percent can’t be probably used by AI writers.
Only 1 percent of the words Ruto used are unique and unpredictable to be incorporated by an AI.
The AI Detector shows that the president might have used AI to write his message.
According to the tool, 70 percent is human content while 30 percent could have been generated using AI.
“There is a 30.7% probability this text was entirely written by AI,” the tool says.
The tool highlighted this part of the statement as AI generated content, “We look forward to deepening our collaboration under your leadership as we work together to address global challenges, promote peace and security and foster inclusive economic growth for the benefit of our peoples. Congratulations once again Mr. President-Elect, and may your tenure bring continued progress and unity to the United States of America and strengthen the bonds between our two great nations.”

48 Percent AI Content
Quillbot and Sribbr showed that 48 percent of the text is likely to be AI generated with only 58 percent being human content.
The two tools highlighted the last three paragraphs, from Kenya values……… the assurances of my highest consideration as AI generated.
According to AI Detector by Grammarly 25 percent of the text appeared to be AI-generated.
