Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has controversially said that he will only serve UDA supporters as President William Ruto serves the rest of Kenyans.
Gachagua maintains that he will continue rewarding UDA loyalists and those who stood with them during the 2022 general elections.
Speaking during the launch of the Nairobi Rivers Commission in Korogocho on Wednesday, Gachagua stated the Kenya Kwanza government will serve all Kenyans, but he as the UDA leader will focus on the party’s supporters.
“President Ruto will serve all Kenyans. He as the leader of the country will continue with that work, and I as the leader of the UDA will continue to deal with the people of the UDA,” Gachagua stated.

Just recently, the DP described Kenya as a company where some people are major shareholders while others do not have shares.

Gachagua said that government appointments and contracts are a preserve of those who voted for the Kenya Kwanza government.
He said they will reward its staunch supporters and give least consideration to members of the opposition.
“This government is a company that has shares. There are owners who have the majority of shares, and those with just a few, while others do not have any. You invested in this government and you must reap. You sowed, tilled, put manure and irrigated, and now it is time to reap,” he said.
