Content creator Georgina Njenga has spoken after a video showing her being assaulted was circulated on social media.
In the since-deleted video, Georgina appears visibly distressed, with blood on her forehead.
Unknown men are heard speaking in the background. However, one of the men, who some of her online followers claimed to recognize, is seen speaking in an angry tone back at her.
The man threatens to break Georgina’s phone when she pulls it out and starts recording.
Moreover, he begins asking her to leave the house so that she can get medical attention, still clearly agitated by the social media influencer.
“Let’s go outside so that you can get treatment. Your mother has already come here to beg you to go to the hospital. Do you want to die in my house? Do you want to struggle yourself? Then go ahead and do it,” he says.
