Govt Announces 300 Jobs for Female Nurses in Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, through the State Department for Labour and Skills Development, has announced jobs for 300 female specialist nurses.

In an advertisement on Sunday, December 15, the Ministry indicated that successful candidates will work in Saudi Arabia.

Additionally, successful candidates will sign a one-year renewable contract with a salary ranging from USD 1,400 to USD 2,300 (Ksh180,600 to Ksh296,700) based on their qualifications and experience.

This initiative, according to the statement, is aimed at providing skilled Kenyan professionals with global job placements and offers competitive terms and benefits.

The job comes with clear benefits, including an 8-hour workday, paid annual vacation with free round-trip economy air tickets, and overtime compensation as stipulated under Saudi Arabian labour laws.

The ministry has urged qualified candidates to apply before the January 3, 2025 deadline.

Earlier Recruitment Calls for Nurses 

Earlier on December 6, the Advance Links Service advertised 100 nursing job opportunities in Austria for Kenyans to apply.

According to Advance Links Services, which is a Kenyan recruitment agency, the role requires nursing professionals with a strong command of the German language at B2 level or higher, and hands-on experience in specialized medical departments. 

Additionally, the recruitment agency announced that it was seeking qualified and experienced Registered Nurses (BSc in Nursing) with a command of the German Language at B1 level.
