The conversation of Islami leaders came up after Hanifa shared a video of a Sheikh online purporting to say that Allah forgives every sin if the person repents even if the person is a sexual offender.

Hanifa responded to the video by saying, ‘Allah forgives every sin if the person repents, but isn’t one of the conditions that the victim accepts it first? He’s peddling the notion that such huge crimes and sins can be casually forgiven!’
An X user named Salma Mohammed responded to Hanifa’s claims, saying, “Not gonna comment much. All I wanna say is, sister, you are a high-profile figure. Just try to stay within boundaries, and that will help you gain more respect from both sides.”
Another user named Amed said, “Not everyone can understand what the sheikh explained unless you are gifted. We call it wisdom knowledge.”
Farsafi vows to deal with sexual offenders
However, other social media users supported her comments.
A user named Bin Suleim said, “This time you’re right, sis. God forgives if you’ve wronged Him and repent, but if you’ve wronged someone, you must seek their forgiveness or return what you took.
If it was blood, you must face punishment unless the person, or if they’re dead, their next of kin forgives you.”
Following sexual offences towards minors by allegedly Muslim religious leaders, Farsafi has vowed to expose such acts.

“Now, I have made it my mission to expose every paedophile hiding behind religion. By Allah, I will go after each and every one of them no matter how long it takes and what I go through. Paedophiles protect each other, and their words are the rule of law in Northeastern.
We have so many cases of children being molested and on the rise being boys too. None of them get to see the light of the day. But not anymore, I will even be posting their mugshots,” Hanifa vowed.
