How to Verify Your IEBC Voter Details
Have your Kenyan ID or valid passport number ready, this is the primary identifier required.

You will see your registration details including:
- Full name
- Date of birth & gender
- County, constituency, ward
- Polling station & code
If everything displays correctly “Voter found” you’re good to go.
SMS Verification
On your mobile device, send your ID or Passport number to 70000
The SMS fee is Ksh 10 (applies across Safaricom, Airtel, Telkom). You’ll receive an immediate reply that includes:
- Your name
- Location details (county, constituency, ward, polling station and code)
Some guides suggest sending the ID# followed by “#YYYY” (your birth year).
Your confirmation (via web or SMS) should reflect accurate, current registration data.
The portal may show a “voter found” notice, while SMS relays the details directly to your phone. Cross‑check these against your own information for consistency.

What to Do if Details Are Incorrect or Missing

Visit your local IEBC Constituency Office

Submit a request for rectification or updating. You must act within the verification period (typically ~30 days during pre-election registration drives).
