Israel is under attack after missiles were launched from Iran targeting its territory, prompting the Israeli Defence Forces to activate defence systems to intercept the threat.
In an official statement on March 15, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) reported that missiles were recently launched from Iran toward the territory of Israel.
“The IDF has identified that a short while ago, missiles were launched from Iran toward the territory of the State of Israel. Defence systems are operating to intercept the threat,” read part of the Israeli army statement.
The Home Front Command issued early warnings directly to mobile phones in affected areas, instructing the public to enter protected spaces and remain there until further notice.
Public Urged to Follow Safety Instructions Amid Israeli Missile Threat
Israeli rescue and emergency units of the Home Front Command, including regular and reserve forces, are operating in central Israel after a reported impact.
Teams are conducting searches and assisting affected residents.
The Israeli authority has urged residents to act responsibly and adhere to all official instructions, emphasising that compliance saves lives.
Upon receiving alerts, citizens are instructed to enter protected spaces and remain there until further notice.
Exiting shelters is allowed only after explicit clearance from the authorities.
“The public is requested to act responsibly and follow the instructions, they save lives. Upon receiving an alert, one must enter protected spaces and remain there until further notice,” IDF noted.

The public is advised to continue following all directives from the Home Front Command to ensure personal safety during the ongoing threat.
This Israeli missile threat comes amid widespread online speculation about Benjamin Netanyahu’s whereabouts, following viral claims of his assassination.
UAE Air Defences Intercept Missiles and Drones Launched from Iran
The United Arab Emirates, in a statement on March 15, also confirmed responding to incoming missile and drone threats originating from Iran.
“UAE air defences are currently responding to incoming missile and drone threats from Iran,” confirmed part of their statement.

The Ministry of Defence confirmed that the loud sounds reported in affected areas are caused by air defence systems intercepting the threats.
“MOD asserts that the sounds heard are the result of the Air Defence Systems intercepting missiles and drones.”
Authorities urged the public to remain vigilant and follow official safety guidelines as defensive operations continue nationwide.
