The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has cancelled its internship programme, months after advertising 221 job opportunities across various tribunals and the Judiciary.
In a public notice dated October 23, the Commission announced it had withdrawn the internship vacancies made on July 24, 2026.
According to the Commission, the withdrawal of the internship is due to inadequate budgetary provision for its implementation during the current financial year.
“The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) wishes to notify the public that the internship advertisement published on 24th July 2026, inviting applications for internship opportunities, is hereby cancelled. The Commission regrets to inform you that the internship programme has been cancelled due to inadequate budgetary provision for its implementation in the current financial year,” the notice stated.
JSC apologised to prospective applicants for any inconvenience caused by the decision and thanked those who had expressed interest in the programme.
The public has been advised to disregard the earlier advertisement, and the Commission said it will communicate further updates on internship opportunities through its official channels.
