Embakasi west Member of parliament (MP) Mark Mwenje has alleged that police officers abducted Attorney General Justin Muturi’s son, Leslie Muturi.
In a video seen by The Kenya Times, Mwenje confirmed the incident, describing moments before Leslie was reportedly abducted by individuals that he identified as police on Saturday June 22 at Lavington, Kilimani.

“My name is Mark Mwenje (MP) Embakasi West, and I’m the deputy minority whip Azimio we are here, Lavington Kilimani, my friend Leslie Muturi son to Justin Muturi AG has just been hijacked by the police here on the road,” he stated.
Mwenje, who was in the company of his friends said he was following Leslie’s car before the sudden roadside abduction. He is seen pointing at a vehicle allegedly belonging to the AG’s son.

In addition, he expressed optimism in finding him and asked the police to release him.
“I was the one following him, this is his car, take the video, these are my friends who are right here, I’m following him and the police who’ve taken him, we are here, and we are going to find you guys. Release him right now,” he said.

MP Calls on Gen Z To Find Leslie
Mwenje revealed that he had informed every necessary person about Leslie missing.
Additionally, he stated that they would keep vigil until they find him further calling on Generation Z (Gen Z) to assist in finding him.
“We’ve been informed everybody in this Nairobi, this video we are sharing with everyone, Gen Z help us find Lesley Muturi. We need to find him this night. He’s been hijacked,” he said.
Moreover, he expressed frustration in the police denying any involvement in the incident while reiterating that the people who took him were police.
Mwenje further revealed details of the attires the alleged abductors were wearing and the car that was used in the incident.
“And the police are saying we don’t know where he is. The guys who’ve taken him are cops and I’m the one who’s seen it. It’s a white Alto land cruiser like the old ones. We saw you guys, you’re dressed black in combat, we know you guys, who’ve taken him, we have the plates. Release Leslie Muturi right now,” Mwenje added.

Kenyans React
Leslie’s alleged abduction comes a few hours after the release of Billy Simani also known as Crazy Nairobian.
It is however not clear what led to the arrest of Leslie Muturi, who took him or where he was taken to.
A section of Kenyans took to social media to expressed concern over the incident that occurred hours after
X user Am_Juliah stated that, “This is now getting out of hand.”
Godwin Murithi cited that Kenyans were back to the Moi regime.
“Seems like we are back to Nyayo days. Zakayo is determined to outplay Moi 1,” he said.
