Renowned celebrity couple the Bahati’s have revealed their next project after trending on social media for a couple of days.
Bahati and Diana B are set to release their reality show dubbed ‘The Bahatis Empire’ on Netflix.

In an Instagram post, the couple announced that the show will premiere on 7th June 2024 on Netflix. This reality show will be the first Kenyan reality show to be premiered on Netflix.

The teaser video posted on their social media accounts revealed the cast featured in the drama series.

Among the key figures featured in the show include politicians such as nominated Senator Karen Nyamu (Karenzo), Lang’ata Member of parliament Phelix Odiwuor (Jalas) and former Nairobi Governor Gideon Mbuvi (Sonko).
Likewise, some of the entertainment sensations featured in the series include award winning actress Jackie Matubia, Peter Kabi, Millicent Wambui (Wa Jesus family), Linet munyali alias size 8, Samuel Muraya (DJ Moh) and Lawrence Macharia (Terrence creative).
The Bahati’s seems to have an eye for reality shows, as they had another one dubbed Being Bahati that aired on Nation Media’s NTV) in 2018.
Being Bahati show used to air on Sundays at 7:30pm before it was switched to Saturday the same time.

Amazingly, with only three seasons the show was able to bag a Kalasha award nomination within 3 months of being on air.
“Good news. With only three months on NTV, Being Bahati has just been nominated as the Best TV show in Kenya Kalasha Awards. Thank you, our fans, for making this your favorite show on TV,” Bahati posted on social media.
This announcement comes, a day after Bahati and Diana Marua had made instigating posts on their social Media accounts. In an Instagram post Bahati had posted a photo of him with his Baby mama Yvette Obura and their daughter which he captioned “I wish I knew”.

Their fans took this opportunity to initiate break up rumors among the couple.
Some fans referred to past instances where celebrity couples use social media clout to promote newly released artwork.
