Celebrity couple Kevin Bahati and Diana Marua have announced that they are officially married after seven years of dating.
Taking to their social pages, the two posted statements indicating that they are now legally married after a traditional wedding ‘ruracio’.
Diana posted a video of her dad praying for them with the caption that their marriage is now blessed and official.
“It’s now official. Our dad blessed us,” she wrote.
On the other hand, Bahati said that God was part of their love journey which began little despite haters trying to bring their union down.
“Our love just started as a little spark I can’t imagine it has now grown to this big fire that even haters can’t put out,” part of his statement read.

“Diana did not expect this, but I was so eager to formalize our marriage before our anniversary,” Bahati added.
Further, in his post, the musician acknowledged having difficulties, in their relationship but also expressed his joy thanking God for the ‘ruracio’ ceremony, adding that it was a concrete foundation
“In the last 7 years we have gone through a lot; happy times and sad moments but I thank God for this because it is part of the concrete building of our foundation,” he stated.
Bahati Gifts to Diana
Nonetheless, the singer pledged to present Diana with seven special gifts to mark their 7 years anniversary.
According to Diana, Bahati showered her with cash and two original silver chains, apartments named Diana B, 7 Arabian Perfumes, 7 billboards and an iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Moreover, the dowry payment was one of the surprise gifts he had planned for his wife.
Diana expressed her overwhelming joy in response to the move on her Instagram page as she shared deep affection for her husband.
“My best yet, to the one that heaven prepared for me. I promise to do what the Bible commands me to. To love and respect you all the days of my life. I can’t wait to say I do. Thank you, babe,” she said.

Earlier, Diana reminisced when she first met Bahati in 2016 as a video vixen in Bahati’s song.
“A few weeks later, I would find myself hanging out with him and I just loved his vibe, his company and how ambitious he was,” she added.
However, she noted that dating him was not a consideration for her because he was ‘younger’ according to society’s standards.
She appreciated their union and said that they would be celebrating their anniversary on October 20.
“20th October, My King and I will be celebrating 7 years of Love! This feels so unreal,” she added.
