A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy is a degree program that trains individuals to become competent pharmaceutical professionals.

Diploma and Degree in Pharmacy Requirements

To qualify for a Bachelor of Pharmacy, one must have a KCSE mean grade of C+, with at least a C+ in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics, and English or Kiswahili.

The Bachelor of Pharmacy degree is offered at several institutions, including the University of Nairobi, Kenyatta University, Maseno University, and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
Additional institutions offering the course include Kisii University, Mount Kenya University, Kenya Methodist University, and Kabarak University.
A Diploma in Pharmacy, also known as a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology, is a three-year program that provides foundational knowledge and practical skills in pharmacy.
It prepares graduates to assist pharmacists in delivering pharmaceutical care and offers a pathway to progress to a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
To study a Diploma in Pharmacy, a candidate should have a KCSE mean grade of C, with a C in English or Kiswahili, Chemistry or Physical Science, and Biology or Biological Sciences.
The student should also have a C plain in any one of the following: Physics, Physical Sciences, or Mathematics.
