KMTC Issues Notice to Students on Graduation and Certificate Collection

The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has issued a notice to graduating students regarding the 94th graduation ceremony and the collection of certificates.

In a notice issued on Wednesday, November 12, KMTC advised Graduands to verify their names on the provisional graduation list available on the College website www.kmtc.ac.ke.

“The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) is pleased to inform, graduating students and stakeholders that the 94% Graduation Ceremony will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025. The theme for this year’s graduation is: Promoting Health and Saving Lives,” read the statement in part.

“Graduands should review this list to verify that the spelling and order of their names are correct. Any corrections to the spelling or order of names should be submitted using the link provided.”

KMTC Issues Notice to Students on Graduation and Certificate Collection

Any corrections to spelling or order of names must be submitted by 12:00 pm on Friday, November 14, 2025. Late requests will incur a fee of KSh 5,000.

Also, note that the name must match the one on the student record in the College ERP, the admission letter, and the National Identification Card.

The institution further noted that only the spelling or order of names can be corrected; new names cannot be introduced, and existing names cannot be deleted.

A non-refundable graduation fee of Ksh 4,000 must be paid through the Jiunge platform by the same deadline. Cash payments will not be accepted. Instructions for payment are available on the College website.

Graduands are also required to collect their graduation gowns between Monday, November 17, and Friday, November 28, 2025, during weekdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

They must present their clearance forms, payment receipt, and original National ID.

Gowns must be returned by Wednesday, December 17, 2025, with a penalty of Ksh 100 per day for late returns.

The 94th graduation ceremony will be held on Thursday, 4 December 2025, at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, Nairobi, commencing at 8:00 am.

Graduands are required to attend a rehearsal on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the same venue.

 Graduates to Collect Certificates from December 8

Attendees are considered to have consented to the taking of photographs and videos during the event, in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

“The College will adhere to the provisions of the Data Protection Act, Cap. 411C on the usage of photos and videos on documents and media platforms,” KMTC added.

At the same time, KMTC stated that certificates will be available for collection starting Monday, 8 December 2025, at KMTC Headquarters in Nairobi.

This will be done on weekdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, provided the graduand has cleared all College requirements.
