Celebrations erupted in parts of the country after the High Court on October 31 allowed Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki, to ascend to the Deputy President’s position.
Kenyans, including Kindiki’s family members, welcomed the High Court’s decision and thanked the public for their immense support for Kindiki.
His brother and professor, Isaiah Kindiki was elated.
“To the people of Kenya, from a family perspective, I would say thank you so much for giving my brother many opportunities to serve this Republic. As a senator of Tharaka Nithi, he contributed significantly to the political development of the Senate,” Isaiah remarked.
Isaiah described Kindiki as a dedicated servant and expressed optimism that he will help President William Ruto achieve his mandate to the people of Kenya.

“His commitment to duty, his beliefs and faith in God, his trust in his family, his trust in his people, the community, the Republic of Kenya, and the leadership of Kenya, I expect that he will be helping the head of state deliver on their promises,” Isaiah expressed.

Besides, Isaiah, political leaders and friends also took to social media to congratulate Kithure Kindiki.
Isaiah Kindiki Profile
Professor Isaiah Kindiki is the Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KCA University.
He is a Professor of Soil Science with over 30 years of experience in teaching, research and university leadership.
Professor Isaiah holds a PhD in Soil Science from Egerton University (1997 to 2001), a Master of Science in Soil Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Nairobi (1991 to 1993).
He also earned a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Agriculture from the University of Nairobi (1988 to 1991) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education and Training from the University of Fort Hare (2010 to 2013).

Moreover, he is an accomplished scholar with more than 100 publications in refereed journals and books, and has successfully supervised over 50 postgraduate students at both master’s and PhD levels.
Furthermore, he is a passionate researcher and has secured more than 55 research-funded projects, many consultancies, and grants.
He is a member of the Soil Science Society of South Africa, the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions, a Professor Extraordinaire at the University of South Africa (UNISA), a member of the Kenya Network of Entrepreneurial Institutions Leaders (KNEIL) and the East African region representative of the African Council for Distance Education (ACDE).
