President William Ruto’s new Aide-De-Camp (ADC) is Colonel Fabian Lengusuranga from Kenya Army.
Col. Lengusuranga takes over from Brigadier Timothy Stelu Lekolool from the Kenya Navy who, was former president Uhuru Kenyatta’s ADC.
Moreover, Brigadier Stelu has been deployed to the Department of Defence Head Quarters.
Nonetheless, Lengusuranga on Tuesday, October 2 accompanied the president to Nyeri where he attended the funeral of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s elder brother who died last week.
President William Ruto’s new Aide-De-Camp Col. Lengusuranga was commissioned in 1999. Moreover, he is a seasoned and decorated military officer serving as a senior Special Forces branch commander.

Col. Agnetta has replaced Racheal Nduta Kamui who has been promoted to a full Colonel and deployed to the Department of Defence headquarters.
Agnetta who has been serving as an Artillery officer was commissioned in 2003 and has also served in the UN Observer Mission.
According to the Defence Council, the change is effected from time to time because of the officers’ career progression.
Furthermore, the selection of the Aide-De-Camp is done after consultation with the National Defence Council.
It is also believed that the period in which the ADC will serve depends on several issues, including age. However, most of them serve in that capacity for three years.
Nonetheless, Brig. Stelu Lekolool was among the three ADCs former President Uhuru Kenyatta had during his 10-year rule. He was the first Aid-De-Camp to be picked from the Navy. He served Uhuru until September 13 when William Ruto ascended to power.
