Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Leadership, Administration, and Management.
Sudi has been awarded the degree by the Northwestern Christian University on December 21, 2024.
In a statement, the lawmaker described his achievement as one that underscores the limitless nature of education.
“I am deeply honored to receive an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Leadership, Administration, and Management from Northwestern Christian University at The Eldoret National Polytechnic. This recognition underscores the limitless nature of education—it truly has no limits,” stated Sudi.

While speaking at the event, Sudi stated that the motivation behind his achievement is to shun critics who say he is not schooled.
“I got married at an early age, and I have two children who have graduated from university in London. They have even completed their master’s degrees. I’m doing this because I’m trying to revenge talks that I didn’t study properly,” added the MP.
Sudi emphasized the importance of education saying he does not care what people say about his level of education, but his main focus is educating his children.

He further congratulated the graduates from urging them to match their character to their education.
“Going to school and working are two different things. Don’t be a graduate or a PhD holder but your character doesn’t align with your qualifications. To this year’s graduates, congratulations on this remarkable milestone. May your journeys ahead be impactful and inspiring,” advised Sudi.
The Northeastern Christian University is an online university that offers online degree programs in ministry, theology, biblical studies, and related fields. It offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees in these fields
The University has branches worldwide including Africa, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Europe.
Sudi charged with forging education certificates
Other notable figures present at the event include Mining and Blue Economy Cabinet Secretary, Ali Hassan Joho, Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja, Sirisia MP John Waluke, and former Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu.

Sudi has been on the spot before based on his education status.
In 2022, he had been charged with forging a Diploma Certificate in Business Management from the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and a KCSE certificate where he claims he sat for the exam at Highway Secondary School in Nairobi.
He was, however, acquitted of these charges.
