Former Prime Minister, Ralia Odinga has hinted at supporting Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka in the next election.
While speaking in Bondo, Siaya County on Sunday, October 15 during the birthday ceremony of Oburu Odinga, Raila praised Kalonzo Musyoka, noting that he would always support him.
“We will stand firm with Kalonzo since he is faithful,” he said.
The Azimio leader added that either he or Kalonzo would vie for presidency in the 2027 general elections.
“Last time I heard Ruto saying that Raila won’t vie so I will have time for Kalonzo, either of us will vie,” he stated.
Moreover, the former Prime Minister accused President Ruto of trying to sabotage the relationship between him and the Wiper boss.

Further, Raila while expressing his gratitude to Kalonzo described him as a gentleman and a good Christian who stood by him in the past election even though he was not nominated as his running mate.
He accounted for all the times they had been together, highlighting being members of KANU, LDP and Narc Kenya.
“We have always been together since KANU time, formed LDP, went to Narc together, we have been together in ODM, and have contested twice in elections,” Raila stated.
“He has been with us. He was not my running mate in the last election, but he stood with us. He is faithful and loving,” he added.
Raila and Kalonzo in Bondo
Raila and Kalonzo were in Bondo for a thanksgiving ceremony for Siaya Senator Oburu Odinga, where Kalonzo was invited as the chief guest.

In his response, Kalonzo, who was the chief guest during the ceremony termed Raila as one who brought positive change to the country.
“Our brother has shown Kenya, the African Region and the whole world that he is a leader who has brought positive change,” Kalonzo said.
