Resumption of Operations
The accident occurred just a few days after the matatu Sacco was granted an interim to resume operations in its Nairobi routes on March 24, 2025.
The Transport Licensing Appeals Board (TLAB) temporarily revoked the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA)’s suspension of the fleet.
Consequently, the ruling effectively lifted NTSA’s suspension, enabling Super Metro to continue operating across Nairobi and its routes as a Public Service Vehicle (PSV) operator.
