The Board of Directors of TotalEnergies Marketing Kenya PLC has announced newly appointed members in recent leadership changes
In a notice dated August 24, the board made public the appointment of Elodie Luce as a Director and Chairperson of TotalEnergies Marketing Kenya Plc with effect from August 23, 2024.
Additionally, Thibault Flichy has been appointed as a Director and Managing Director of TotalEnergies Marketing Kenya Plc with effect from September 1, 2024.
The new appointments follow the resignation of the previous Chairman Olagoke Aluko and Managing Director Eric Fanchini.
According to the notice, the two have since taken up other roles within the group.
“The Board of Directors wishes to extend its gratitude to both the outgoing Chairman of the Board, Mr. Olagoke Aluko, and the outgoing Managing Director, Mr. Eric Fanchini, who resigned to take up new assignments within the Total Energies Group,”
“For their dedication, leadership, and invaluable contributions to the growth and success of the Company during their tenure as Directors. We wish them the very best in all their future endeavors,” the statement read in part.

Profile of TotalEnergies Marketing Kenya PLC New Chairperson
Elodie Luce takes over from Olagoke Aluko who was appointed to the position on December 22, 2021.
She is a graduate of HEC business school and holds a master’s degree in business law from Paris-Sud University. Additionally, she has over 20 years’ experience in finance, law, and corporate governance.
In addition, she has held several high-level positions within TotalEnergies, including being the Managing Director of TotalEnergies Marketing Congo, Head of Equity and Financial Governance at TotalEnergies SE.
Also, she was the Head of Market Intelligence and Prospective Strategy Division of TotalEnergies Marketing Services SA, and Senior Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions of the African Division, among others.
Currently, she is the Vice-President Finance and Corporate Affairs, Africa Division of Total Energies Marketing and Services.
“Ms. Luce has built a remarkable reputation through her contributions to TotalEnergies and the broader energy sector. Her extensive background and strategic insight are poised to guide the Company towards continued success and innovation,” the company stated while announcing her appointment.

Profile of Thibault Flichy
On the other hand, Thibault Flichy, the new Director and Managing Director holds a master’s degree in business from the NOEMA Business School.
He has over 20 years’ experience and has worked with TotalEnergies in different capacities including serving as the Vice President of Mobility, Vice President of Africa Retail Network (Marketing and Digital) and Chief Executive Officer of TotalEnergies Marketing Senegal.
Additionally, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of TotalEnergies Marketing Burkina Faso, and Commercial Director at Total Energies Marketing Burkina Faso, among others.
Currently, he is the Program Director for the Electricity Start-up Accelerator at Total Energies.
“His deep industry expertise and leadership experience across multiple regions will be instrumental in driving the Company’s operations and expanding its footprint in the Kenyan market,” the statement read in part.
