Samburu County, located in the northern region of Kenya, has a total of 100,014 registered voters, according to the latest figures released by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
The county is divided into three constituencies. Samburu West has the highest number of registered voters at 43,390, followed by Samburu North with 29,830 voters.
Samburu East accounts for 26,794 registered voters.
Each constituency is represented in the National Assembly by an elected Member of Parliament. Samburu West is represented by Josephine Naisula Lesuuda of the Kenya African National Union (KANU).

In Samburu North, Dominic Eli Letipila serves as the MP under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.
Samburu East is represented by Jackson Lekumontare Lentoijoni, also of the Kenya African National Union (KANU).

Samburu County is part of the country’s former Rift Valley Province.
The county is named after the Samburu people, a Nilotic ethnic group closely related to the Maasai, and is known for its rich cultural heritage, semi-arid landscapes, and unique wildlife.
