United Democratic Alliance Party (UDA) secretary general Cleophas Malala, on Sunday, September 17 announced ‘UDA Party Anthem Competitions.’
Through a social media post, Malala announced that the party has officially kicked off the hunt for its official party anthem open to all interested creatives countrywide.
Malala noted that the selected winner will take home a staggering 3 million Kenyan shillings prize.
Moreover, UDA announced that the registration is free and open to all competitors including choirs and individual compositions across the country.

Also, The UDA party is casting its anthem across the nation covering Nairobi, Coast Central, Eastern, Nyanza, Western, Rift Valley, and Northeastern regions.
All interested candidates have been asked to contact the party as competition guidelines, including submission details and deadlines are yet to be released.

President William Ruto, during the launch of the party’s regional headquarters in Nyeri, stated that the party envisions a Kenya where democracy thrives, and ethnic divisions fade into oblivion.
“Our goal is to build a National Political Party glued together by unity of purpose and progressive ideas; a party that shall unite Kenyans based on the interests of national development, not ethnic balkanization,” he affirmed.
Furthermore, the ruling party is on a mission to set records, aiming to register 15 million members nationwide before the 2027 election period.
