A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree is the key to the law profession, a coveted and reputable field among young students.

Besides imparting vast knowledge on the students, law is the primary professional qualification for careers in the legal domain.

However, most aspiring lawyers end up failing to attend their dream universities, either because they did not meet the cutoff points, unaffordable fees, or both.

But first, you must understand the minimum entry requirements and subject requirements for law programs, which are based on cluster subjects.

The first cluster includes English or Kiswahili, both of which are essential for communication.

The second cluster comprises subjects like Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and General Science, from which candidates need to pass one.

In addition, the third cluster focuses on subjects related to social sciences and religion, including History and Government, Geography, and various forms of Religious Education.

The fourth cluster includes a broader range of subjects, such as Home Science, Agriculture, French, German, Arabic, and more, though a subject can only be counted once.
