Francis Gikonyo Muthuku is a Judge of the High Court, a position he has held since 2012.
He was promoted in rank and has served as the Principal Judge of the High Court since 2022, and he chairs the High Court Advisory Committee (HiCAC).
Academic and Professional Qualifications
He holds a 2009 Master of Laws from the University of Nairobi.

Gikonyo has a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nairobi, obtained in 1990; pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, graduating in 1991; and was thereafter admitted to the Roll of Advocates the same year.
Francis Gikonyo Work Experience
From 2012 to date, Gikonyo has been a Judge of the High Court of Kenya.
Between 2009 and 2012, he worked as the Principal Legal Attorney at the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).

In 1991, he served as a Legal Practitioner at Gikonyo Mutei & Co Advocates, and he left in 2008.
