Assets linked to the Cytonn High Yield Fund (CHYF) have been placed under administration, with creditors now given 21 days to lodge their claims.

According to a gazette notice published on Friday, December 26, 2025, Tom Ouma Mungai, an insolvency practitioner at Nairobi Forensics LLP, has been appointed as the administrator over several entities connected to the Cytonn High Yield Fund.

The appointments took effect on December 18, 2025, under Section 534 of the Insolvency Act, 2015.

In a notice dated December 22, 2025, Mungai announced that he had assumed control over Cytonn Investment Partners Eleven LLP (Ridge) and all its assets subject to qualifying charges.
