Corazone Aquino is a Kenyan football star named after the former Philippine President Corazon Aquino.
The midfielder, playing for the Harambee Starlets alongside five other members of the team, won the Tanzania Women’s Premier League the Simba Queens.
“Congratulations to these 5 Harambee Starlets players on winning the Tanzania Women’s Premier League with Simba Queens: Corazone Aquino, Jentrix Shikangwa, Fasila Adhiambo, Elizabeth Wambui and  Rose Ingosi,” Carol Radull issued a congratulatory message to the team on June 1.
Corazone Aquino Early Life and Educational Background
Corazone, whose full name is Vivian Corazone Aquino Odhiambo, was born in Makongeni on October 2, 1998.
For her primary education, Corazone attended the Joseph Apudo Primary School and, upon completion, joined Makongeni Secondary School.
In 2013, Corazone completed her O-Levels at Olympics High School, where she joined the football team and won a national title.

Family
Corazone was raised by both her parents. Her mother, Celestine Ongere, was a former football player who was later nominated to serve in the County Assembly for the Kaloleni Ward.
According to Corazone, her mother encouraged her to the up football from an early age and named her after the former Philippine president she admired.
Dominic Rudha is the father of the midfielder and works as an engineer.
Career and Achievements
In 2007, at the age of 9, Corazone Aquino started her football career at the Masa Babes club based in Makongeni and currently known as President Kimbrow.
During her time at the club, Corazone, under coach Florence Odhiambo, became the captain for the Under 17 squad.
“I first joined Masa Babes in 2007, which is now known as President Kimbrow in Makongeni. In 2014, I was made captain for their Under 17 squad by coach Florence Odhiambo,” Corazone Aquino stated during an interview with Citizen.
Later, the midfielder exited the club and joined the Soccer Queens, where she played for the club in the Kenya Women Premier League.

In 2016, the player made their senior Harambee Starlets debut and was part of the team at the 2016 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Between 2020 and 2021, the football midfielder played for the Atletico Ouriense in Portugal.
In addition, the football player has also featured for the Kenya Women’s Premier League Gaspo Women, where she captained the side.
In her football career, the star signed a two-year contract with Simba Queens and won the Tanzania Women’s Premier League title.
