As the Premier League season edges closer to its dramatic conclusion, the title race is shaping up to be one of the most compelling in recent years.
With just a handful of fixtures left, the spotlight firmly rests on Arsenal and Manchester City, the top two teams in the league.
In my view, Arsenal will eventually win the Premier League.
The Gunners have demonstrated maturity, resilience, and tactical discipline well beyond what many expected at the start of the season.
Their ability to grind out results, even when not at their fluent best, is usually what separates champions from contenders.
This season, Arsenal have not just played good football but have also learned how to win under pressure.
That is one thing they had failed to do over the past four seasons, which led them to finish second in those seasons and earn the nickname “League Bottlers”.
The Time is Now for Arsenal
More importantly, Arsenal deserve it this time.
Mikel Arteta has built a team that no longer relies on excuses. In past seasons, they were seen as a side that could fall short when it mattered most.

This campaign, however, they have shown consistency and a clear football identity from start to finish.
They have brought out the real meaning of football tactics, especially in their set pieces in the first half of the 2025/26 season.
A significant number of their goals have come from corners, many of them proving match-winning.
That level of planning shows a team that is well prepared and disciplined.
Another major strength is their balance. Arsenal have not relied on one individual to carry them.
Goals and performances have come from across the team, making them unpredictable and harder to stop.
When one player has a quiet game, another steps up, just as in their collective effort to reach the Champions League finals in Budapest, where they are set to face the defending champions, PSG.
Defensively, they have also been solid.
Their goalkeeper, David Raya, has been outstanding, registering 18 clean sheets this season and winning the Golden Glove in a pool filled with big names such as Gianluigi Donnarumma and Emiliano Martinez.
Those clean sheets have proved crucial in tight matches, helping Arsenal secure important points.
Manchester City Remain a Premier League Threat
That said, Manchester City remain a formidable threat.

Pep Guardiola’s side have built a reputation for finishing Premier League seasons with relentless winning runs, and there is little to suggest this year will be any different.
If City wins both their remaining games, they will take the title race right down to the wire. Their experience in these high-stakes moments cannot be overlooked.
However, even for City, the run-in will not be straightforward.
Aston Villa, currently sitting fifth on 59 points, could play a decisive role in shaping the title outcome on the final day.
Villa have quietly put together an impressive season under Unai Emery and have become a highly competitive side capable of troubling even the league’s best teams.
If they come up against City, that fixture could prove to be a major hurdle.
Their attacking threat and strong organization give them the ability to shift the momentum in Arsenal’s favor.
Arsenal, on the other hand, appears to have found the right balance at exactly the right time.
Their squad depth has improved, injuries have been managed well, and key players have stepped up when needed most.
There is also a strong sense of belief within the team, something that had been missing in previous title challenges.
While Manchester City have the pedigree and experience, football is not always decided by history. Sometimes it comes down to hunger, timing, and who wants it more.
This could be Arsenal’s moment.
