Hillary Sigei Kiprotich is a Senator representing Bomet County, having been elected to this position in August 2022.
He is a member of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party. Sigei is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and has a strong legal background, holding a Master of Laws (LLM).

He proceeded to Tenwek High School for his secondary education, completing his KCSE in 1999.

In 2006, he obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.
Between 2012 and 2014, Hillary Sigei completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Trade and Investment Law at the University of Nairobi.

After legal training, in 2009, Sigei worked as an Associate Advocate at Katwa & Kemboy Advocates until 2011.
He then founded Sigei & Associates Advocates, serving as Managing Partner from 2012 to 2013. He joined SMS Advocates LLP in 2013 and continues there as Managing Partner.
In August 2022, he was elected Senator for Bomet County under the UDA ticket, taking office on August 16, 2022.
In October 2022, he was elected Chair of the Senate Committee on Justice, Legal Affairs & Human Rights.
