Club Covid protege Shakilla has once again found herself on the wrong side of Kenyans after failing to fool them with her cheap antic to seem rich.
In a bid to chase clout and possibly claim a seat at the high table, Shakilla took to Instagram and posted a screengrab of an MPESA balance message showing how much she had in her phone.
According to her screenshots, someone had just sent her KSh 237,000, which added up to the money she had and totaled to KSh 285,000.
In essence, she wanted to brag and show off how wealthy she is, but things went south in a split second following a bust by the ever-busy ”Instagram DCI”.
A closer look at Shakilla’s MPESA balance message revealed it was fake and someone had edited it to give a wrong impression.
Case in point is where her message has the word MPESA written wrong, not the usual way Safaricom does legit ones.

Shakilla’s message had at some part ”MPESa” instead of the normal one ”MPESA”.
Kenyans on social media caught Shakilla in her tracks as she tried to pull their legs with a fake, edited MPESA balance message, just for clout.
In their usual manner, Kenyans could not give Shakilla a minute to breathe as they suffocated her with a mother of all trolls on social media.
Quite a number of Kenyans asked her to work hard and make real money instead of living in a fantasy world.
